Way back in the day - well 2016 to be accurate - plans were drawn up for the development of an active travel route from Muir of Ord to Corntown. This route was through the wooded areas between the Muir and Conon. However, from Conon to Corntown, a nice route was planned.

The route is shown in the plan available by double clicking on the map to the right.

The 2016 cost of the route was estimated at £3,000,000.  Once we get full details of the 2016 project, up to date costings will be obtained. The project will be re-considered then.
