The application is for a pump & tank enclosure associated with fire suppression proposals at the Braes of Conon phase 5B development.

Due to new regulations coming into practice, the developer is required to install fire suppression into all housing on this site. As part of the process, the developers conducted a flow and pressure test in the area adjacent to the site. The results of the test meant that a pump and tank system would be required due to insufficient water pressure in the area, and as such, the minimum requirement for a mains fed system without the need for a pump was not achieved.
